An environment for support

Family life can have its ups and downs Linaker Primary Children’s Centre aims to provide support in a wide range of areas to families from all walks of life.

We recognise that individual families need different support at various times of their life and aim to offer services that meet the needs of our community.

Families may just need one off advice but at other times their needs are more complex. We offer a number of support packages in the centre and through working with partner agencies that ensure advice and guidance can be offered through a range of professionals and experts.

If the centre cannot provide the support you need we will make every attempt to sign post you to someone who can help.

We also have a number of leaflets and other information on a wide variety of subjects.

We recognise that at certain times families may need to access specific support i.e. whilst they are pregnant, have moved into the area or when their child is starting nursery or school to name a few.

Specific activities or services are put into place by the centre to provide suitable information appropriate to the needs of families at that time. Many of our activities have been created in response to what the community have told us is necessary. Whatever the difficulties you are having, or if you would just like to ask a question please call in or e-mail us on confidential@linakermail.co.uk.
All questions will be answered by an appropriate professional.
(NB. all questions will remain confidential unless it is considered that there may be a child protection issue)

Continued support:

For some people a number of issues and problems occur that need more intensive support. The centre works with a wide range of agencies to ensure we encourage families to find the most appropriate support.

We have a family development worker who is part of the centres team who provides help to families and assists them in finding the right kind of support depending on individual situations.

The centre works regularly with partner agencies such as Homestart, SWACA, Sefton carers, Health, Light for Life and the Social care team as well as many others to provide a comprehensive system of support.
