Gorse Hill Nature Reserve trip
We absolutely LOVED our trip out today, to Gorse Hill Nature Reserve in Ormskirk. What a beautifully sunny day we had for it! (Did you notice that exclamation sentence?)
Jonathon Atkins, the manager of the reserve, commented on how wonderfully all of our pupils behaved. All of the staff involved in the trip agreed - we are very proud of our Year 2 children!
We had a go at building mini-beast hotels, pond dipping, learning about food chains and exploring the reserve. We loved playing in a meadow of buttercups and we were very excited to discover newts under rocks.
Thank you, parents & carers, for contributing to our coach costs, to make this trip possible, it was such a lovely way to end our half term
