Linaker is a very successful school which is at the forefront of the Governments agenda for change. The school has an excellent track record for creativity and ICT and is recognized as exemplary in its delivery of extended services. OFSTED (In March 2008) describe the school as “ … a good school which serves its pupils and the local community well….”.

As a result of our significant recent developments we are looking to appoint staff to the following posts :

 

Deputy Childcare Managers (Two Posts) – Point 22 : 25 £19,427- £21,306 p.a.

We are looking to appoint two Deputy Childcare Managers to assist with the continued provision of high quality childcare in our Tree House Nursery. The successful applicants will have a comprehensive knowledge of childcare, be able to demonstrate sound management skills and have aspirations for creating an outstanding provision. The posts will be for 36 hours per week and hours will be agreed upon appointment, although some regular early and late working hours will be expected. These posts are permanent.

 

Senior Play Worker – Part Time – Point 14 :  17 £15,570 - £16,663 p.a. pro rata

We are looking to appoint a Senior Play Worker to provide after school and holiday care in our very successful Kid’s Club. The post will be for 20 hours per week all year ‘round. The hours will be from 3pm to 6.15pm during term time (plus some planning / management time) and variable hours during holidays (to be agreed). This post is permanent.

 

Activity Worker – Part Time – Point 18 : 21 £16,991 - £18,937 p.a. pro rata

We are looking to appoint an Activity Worker to support our Children’s Centre activities, including crèche on occasions, and activities in other schools and centres as we begin to extend our reach. The post will be for 24 hours per week. The hours will be agreed upon appointment. The post will initially be until the 31st March 2011 (past this date will be subject to funding confirmation).

 

Fathers Worker – Part Time – Point 22 : 25  £19,427 - £21,306 p.a. pro rata

We are looking to appoint a Fathers Worker to help develop our work with fathers in particular. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an ability to engage with fathers both within and outside of the centre. The post is for 24 hours per week and the hours will be agreed upon appointment. The post will initially be until the 31st March 2011 (past this date will be subject to funding confirmation).

 

Childcare Practitioners (Two) – Point 14 : 17 £15,570 - £16,663 p.a. (pro rata for 27 hour post)

We are looking to appoint two Childcare Practitioners to provide support to two children with additional needs in our Nursery provision. One post will be for 36 hours, across five days. The other post will be for 27 hours, across three days.
