More than just a School In addition to being a primary school, Linaker is also a Department for Children, Schools and Families designated Children’s Centre. This means that as well as everything you would expect from a school we are also able to offer : early education and child care, family support, child and family health services, support for children and families with special educational needs, plus links with JobCentre Plus and Sefton Children’s Services.   Our recently refurbished facilities and significant investment in learning resources makes us a school well positioned to educate and care for children in the 21st Century.   We look forward to welcoming you to our school and children’s centre.

Upcoming Events September 2010 1st New School Year The new school year starts on Wednesday 1st September except for Reception children who start on the 6th. School 8.55am 24th Former Staff Centenary Open Night We are inviting all former members of staff to join us in celebrating Linaker's centenary year. If you are a former member of staff or know one, why not join us on the night ? Contact Mrs Porter at the school office for more details. School Hall 7.00pm - 9.00pm October 2010 18th Parents Night Parents night for children in classes from Reception to Year 6. School 3.30pm 22nd INSET and Training Day The school, centre, kid's club and nursery will ALL be closed on this day for staff training. 9.00am November 2010 9th School Photographs Photographs will be taken for children in all year groups up to Year 6. School 9.00am 12th Centenary Open Night An evening open to everyone in the community, including former pupils. More details available nearer the time.
