Welcome to Tree House Nursery at Linaker
Tree House Nursery is at the heart of Linaker Primary School & Children’s Centre. Especially designed for our youngest children we strive to offer the highest quality of inclusive care and education. As parents you can feel secure in the knowledge that we consider all our children to be unique, having different strengths and personalities. We aim to provide each child with a range of quality experiences that encourage them to develop and learn as well as promoting their emotional well-being. We foster an ethos of respectful care for all children.
We provide care in each of our three rooms :
- Koala Room : 0 to 2’s
- Wallaby Room : 2’s to 3’s
- Kangaroo Room : 3’s and up
Kangaroo Room : This room provides the care and education for all those children registered for just ‘regular’ school nursery sessions OR those within that age group receiving sessional or full day child care.
Tree House Nursery is registered with OFSTED (Reg No EY336127) and meets and exceeds the exacting standards provided by them.
The registered provider is Mr Colin Coleman, Headteacher. The conditions of the registration are set out below.
The registered person:
- must display the registration certificate
- may care for no more than 91 children under 8 years; of these, not more than 35 may be under 3 years, and of these, not more than 18 may be under 2 years at any one time
- may care for no more than 47 children under 8 years; of these, not more than 23 may be under 3 years, and of these, not more than 12 may be under 2 years at any one time (Full Day Care)
- may not care for more than 16 children in the preschool room when maintained nursery education is being provided
- may care for no more than 32 children from 3 years to under 8 years at any one time (Out Of School)
- may care for no more than 12 children under 8 years; of these, not more than 12 may be under 3 years, and of these, not more than 6 may be under 2 years at any one time (Crèche)
- must not provide overnight care
- provides care in the following areas: Koala room, Wallabies room, Kangaroo room, Sensory room (full day care). Multi- purpose room, health room, performing arts suite, sensory room, (crèche). Main school
