Tyrannosaurus Drip

Tyrannosaurus Drip

The Duckbill Dinosaurs Vs. The Ts

Everyone knows that tyrannosauruses are big and scary, so when a placid duckbill dinosaur's egg ends up in the wrong nest confusion is sure to ensue! When the baby dinosaur hatches out, he's so out of place that his grisly big sisters call him Tyrannosaurus Drip. Poor little Drip: all he wants is a quiet life munching on water weed...

We went on a dinosaur hunt...
We received a video from Mrs Brown. She asked for our help and wanted us to go and investigate. First the teachers checked that it was safe to go outside. It was, so off we went on our dinosaur hunt.

Some of the characters from the Tyrannosaurus Drip story came to visit us!

We thought about questions we wanted to ask the characters from the story. We wrote some questions in our English books using question words and a question mark to end each question.

Why did you steel the egg?

Why were you mean to drip?

What do you like to eat?

How did you feel when you saw Drip hatch?

Our trip to Liverpool World Museum
What a great day! We loved our visit to the museum. We had a timetable to follow meaning that each class got to visit each floor. I think the favourite floor was the dinosaurs! We loved reading the facts about dinosaurs and a kind tour guide called, Martin told us about the dinosaur trail. We were all very tired on the way back.
