Albert Einstein 1879 - 1955
Albert Einstein
This week our Famous Scientist is another Nobel Prize winner who is best known for his theory of relativity which helped us understand more about space and time. He shared our Linaker Motto of AIM HIGH because although he enjoyed Science and Maths he struggled with reading and writing due to his dyslexia.
One of his teachers said he would never amount to anything. Through his Curiosity, Determination and Resilience (some of our Linaker Core Values) he went on to challenge ideas and prove that his theories were correct.
His curiosity started with a compass which is something Years 3 and 4 have been learning about and there is also a demonstration using a light clock.
