Georges Seurat
This week our artist is famous for a particular style of painting pointillism. This is where he used lots of dots instead of lines for his pictures. He put dots of primary colours close together and the eye is drawn to mix the colours together. There are many different things you can use to create your dots including cotton bud tips and paint, pencils and felt tip pens. My examples used brush pens but I found that they tended to bend over at the tip so made a mark rather than a dot and it wasn't always of an equal size.
