Our trip to Hesketh Park
We thoroughly enjoyed our forest school type visit to Hesketh Park. We took part in three planned activities; pond dipping, a bug hunt and a nature art workshop. Unfortunately we didn't find much in the pond during pond dipping, as the water was too clear! We found lots of bugs during the bug hunt and even managed to identify certain leaves during the bug hunt using a leaf ID chart. The nature art activity consisted of finding nature related items from nearby and creating a piece of art. In addition to these activities, we fed the ducks, played on the park equipment and made nature bracelets.
