Physical Development
Physical development includes both growth and the ability to use body parts and muscles for certain skills. There are two aspects which contribute to physical development which are gross motor and fine motor skills. Gross motor skills include the use of large muscle movements such as walking, running, throwing and kicking etc. Fine motor skills are smaller movements such as using hands, fingers, wrists, feet and toes.
You will find here some activities which you can complete with your child to practise both aspects of physical development.
Below are some links to Dough Disco Songs which you and your child will need some play dough to use to take part in the activities. I have added a recipe for you to be able to make your own at home.
