The importance of Early Years...
The early years curriculum is based on learning through exploration and play. There are a number of ways you can help your child to learn and make progress:
- Always be on time.
- Good attendance.
- Home reading and making sure your child brings their book bag to school every day.
- Point out numbers and letters in the environment.
- Count at every opportunity!
- Talk to your child about the world around them. Encourage their curious streak and pose questions starting with ‘I wonder...’
- Ask your child what he / she has been doing in school.
Visit the Reception 'Things you can do at home' page. Click here.
