Home learning pack - initial sound sheet. Look at the pictures and say the word - write what the word begins with. Once you have done this - pick some to try and sound out the whole word and write on the back of the sheet.

Extra task - for tomorrow would you like to wear your uniform for our zoom session? Do you think you could get your uniform out tonight ready and in the morning have a try at dressing yourself. This is something children need to be able to do - getting dressed themselves.

Children have a look at my Powerpoint - a recount of my holidays. Verbally recount and model write a sentence.

Get the 'Home learning journal' from your pack - use your name card to write your full name on the front of the booklet. Draw a picture of something you did over the holidays or of your favourite present. Write a sentence underneath on the line. Use the checklist on the powerpoint to make sure it is a good sentence; hold the pencil properly, say the sentence, use Fred fingers to sound out words.

Number 11 this week - find it on a number line (number line from home learning packs) what comes before 11? what number comes after? - 1 more/1 less, show children 11 things I have found.
Children to find 11 things from around the house. Count them out and get your grown-up to check you have 11 things.
