Listen to some calm music (click here) and practise letter formation whilst children enter Zoom.
Look at our focus sound today 'v'
Look at the pictures for the 'v' sound - vase, vulture, vest and vet
Speedy sounds- look at previously taught sounds
Speedy write- practise writing 'v' sound and previously taught sounds
Listen to my Fred talk with Fred (oral blending) - v-e-t , v-a-n and alien words v-o-p and v-a-f
Look at read some green words (See Powerpoint attached below)
Use fred fingers to spell two of the words.
SHOW AND TELL - speaking and listening activity. Show one of your favourite things from home; it could be a teddy bear or a toy. You can tell us about it, if you wish and then we might ask a couple of questions.

Write numbers 1-10 on your paper. Use 3 minute interactive timer. If there is time left once you've done that, continue writing your numbers and see how high you get.
Play a ordering game virtually - look at the numbers and put them in order. Play the game at home by clicking here.
Look at my maths pictures - 'I spy' maths - How many X can you see? Write it down. Next we will compare the amounts using language more and less/fewer.
NOTE - Tomorrow morning after phonics we will be doing 'show and tell'. You can choose one thing to show us and tell us about. This will develop speaking and listening skills.

Zoom Challenge - with your grown-up have a try making your own ice berg. Freeze some water. Then see if your Ice berg floats or sinks.
