Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart 1756 - 1791

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

This week I am linking our Creative Idea to our Famous Scientist Albert Einstein. Although Einstein is known for his theories about Physics and Maths he also enjoyed music and played the violin to relax. One of his favourite composers was Mozart.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born in Salzburg in Austria where you can visit the house he was born in. He started playing the harpsichord aged 4 and started composing his own music when he was only 5. As well as composing his own pieces he played concerts throughout Europe. He wrote music for piano, for orchestras and operas.

This week I include links to information about Mozart and his life, some of his work and ideas on how you can describe the music you listen to.

Although he died over 200 years ago Mozart's work remains popular and is listened to and performed throughout the world.
