Using the book, Flotsam, as stimulus, the children wrote a diary entry for a day at the beach where the author found themselves swept up in a giant wave.
Using the poem, Tsunami, as stimulus, the children created their own imagery poem.
Using the book, Animalium, the children have used their science classification work to help create their own animal. Then they wrote an overview, description of their creature and habitat outline. Their work will create a fantasy science book.
