Britain from the air
In autumn term 1, Year 3's focus is learning about Britain. In Geography, we will be learning about the term bird's eye view, using different sources to view Britain from the air, discussing the features and researching famous landmarks. In DT, we will be designing, making and evaluating a new landmark for Southport.
In History, the children need to study a theme in British History that extends their chronological knowledge. Crime and Punishment grabs the children's attention straight away as they learn about the changes of social history from the Anglo-Saxons to the present.
