Welcome to Linaker Primary School & Children's Centre Linaker is a two form entry Primary School, Nursery and Children's Centre in the heart of Southport, a seaside town in the north of the Borough of Sefton. The school provides for children aged between 3 and 11 and currently has just under 500 pupils on roll. Diary Dates September 2010 1st New School Year The new school year starts on Wednesday 1st September except for Reception children who start on the 6th. School 8.55am 24th Former Staff Centenary Open Night We are inviting all former members of staff to join us in celebrating Linaker's centenary year. School Hall 7.00pm - 9.00pm October 2010 18th Parents Night Parents night for children in classes from Reception to Year 6. School 3.30pm 22nd INSET and Training Day The school, centre, kid's club and nursery will ALL be closed on this day for staff training. 9.00am November 2010 9th School Photographs Photographs will be taken for children in all year groups up to Year 6.
