Coronation

31st May 2013 - On the 2nd June 1953 HM Queen Elizabeth II was crowned as Queen. The photograph here shows the celebrations being reported at Linaker in 1953. Like many schools up and down the land, the school celebrated the coronation with a giant street party.

New 'Whole School' Phonics Approach Introduced ...

7th January 2013 : This term we will be launching our new approach to reading and writing throughout the whole school. We will be using 'Read, Write Inc' which we hope will complement all the other work we having been doing to raise standards i recent years. More information available shortly.
Attendance Changes - IMPORTANT

Sefton Sports Awards

13th June 2013 : Linaker A Team were awarded a 'Highly Commended - Team of the Year' at last nights' Sefton Sports Awards. The prizes were presented by Beth Tweddle MBE - a medal winning Olympian.

25 Staff Complete 5K Run

17th June '13 : On Thursday 13th June 25 members of staff took part in the Sefton Active 5k run at Crosby Marina.

Linaker Polar Challenge

24th May 2013 : The fundrasing for Linaker's North Pole Challenge has begun with vigour tonight with a Race Night held in school.
