Reception/Year 1 Christmas Nativity - Tuesday 16th December 2025 Scarisbrick New Road- Baptist Church

Christmas is fast approaching, and our Reception and Year One children have begun to practise ‘The Twinkly Nativity’ for you.  

Their performance will take place at Scarisbrick New Road Baptist Church on Tuesday 16th December 2025. Doors will open at 1:15pm for a prompt start at 1.30pm.  

Arrangements for the day of the performance  

The children will walk to church during the morning.  They will have a run through, practising on the church stage, before eating their packed lunch.  Doors will open at 1.15pm for parents and guardians to take their seats.  The performance will start at 1.30pm. Once the performance is finished parents/carers can take their child home from the church.  Any parents/carers unable to attend will be able to collect their child from school as usual at the end of the day, 3:25pm.    

Our school kitchen will provide all children with a packed lunch on the day of the performance.  Please order your child’s school packed lunch and give permission for your child to walk to the Church on Arbor by Friday 1st December 2025.  

Our Christmas performance will be recorded by the church and shared online through a QR code or link to parents. This will be available for a couple of months and then removed. If you do not want your child to be recorded, they can still take part but will be sat at the side of the stage so they are not picked up by cameras. Please indicate on the online permission slip on Arbor if you DO NOT want your child to be on the recording.   

Children have been allocated parts and costume letters have been sent home, thank you for your support with this. Please contact your child’s class teacher if you have any queries.
